Default Do I need a converter?

Hello to all (my foyst thread here!)

I plan to get a new TV to replace a 27" remote-less tube.
When buying a flat possibly LCD HD TV, would I need a converter. Or these new things are all digital?

Thanks

Any new HDTV sold after 2008 in the US (and possibly Canada as well) should have an ATSC (digital off air HDTV signal) antenna input, they will be digital ready.
