Hi there,
I'm trying to get rid of my $1,200/yr Directv bill and there is one channel (FOX) from the Austin, TX area that apparently has a power output of ~16KW that I just can not receive. I'm using the Terk directional HDTV0 model (not high dollar at all) but it gets a great signal from all the other channels (500-1000 KW) with great HD picture. All the stations are 29-30 miles away.

I was picking up the FOX channel last weekend but it would freeze like loosing the sat signal. No luck today even picking up a week signal..:noidea:

Anyone have any idea's on trying to get that one channel in? The wife will not let me kill Direct until I get FOX.. :(

Would spending money on a high-dollar antenna help?

Yes a better outdoor antenna will make things a whole lot better, I use this one for my UHF stations but I'm 150 miles away from them.
