HDTV antenna + CWS Receiver

I want to hookup my CW700SW FTA receiver to an outdoor monoprice HDTV antenna using the ANT in coaxal at the back of the receiver, is this possible and will i get HD channels, or do i have to use the built in HD Tuner on the TV itself? What would be the best way to do the physical connections? Im using component cables form the receiver to the TV, do i need to use the coaxal instead to take advantage of the tv's built in HD tuner?

If your FTA receiver is not a HD unit it wont work.

If thats the case then it's best to connect directly to the ATSC input on the TV.
