Like the title says, does anyone know if there is a consumer level RF modulator out there that can output an ATSC signal? I have two modulators in use now (agile modulator for my Coolsat 8000, channel 4 combiner for the 4DTV) but because two of my TVs have converter boxes it's a real pain to switch between the two inputs.

Take a look at the MM-70, http://www.hometech.com/hts/products/video/modulators/index.html#CP-5545

I don't see where it says that it outputs an ATSC 8vsb signal... Maybe I'm missing something?

Ack, sorry not enough coffee yet, wow there are not that many low cost ATSC modulators out there yet, let me look around a bit through some of my TV engineering contacts and get back to you.

I looked around the 'net some more and there don't seem to be any consumer grade units out there...

Hmmm TV engineering contacts... That sounds expensive...

That looks way too expensive. I'll just forget the whole thing. I was thinking there was something simple like the analog modulators.

Yah, the only thing I can come up with is around $700, and that's a commercial unit, it may be a bit before someone comes up with a consumer grade video to ATSC modulator.

I think zeevee will be the first ones to mass consumer and lower the prices........the Zv-100 is about $380........and haven't seen the price on the ZvPro yet......but looks to be interesting for the future.....:

Nope.... That's a converter box. I was looking for an RF modulator that would output a digital signal, but there are no consumer grade units on the market yet...
